Studios announced that Frank Miller will join the creative team for Something Is Killing The Children #50, which has already reached 250,000 pre-orders and will feature special blind bag variants at retail. The milestone issue continues the series' pattern of explosive order numbers, though at roughly half the 487,000 Absolute Batman #24 posted and below Amazing Spider-Man #1000's 400,000.
The blind bag promotion bundles random variant covers in sealed packaging, a collectibles strategy that has driven higher order volumes across publishers this year.
